Calvin Chan, founder of “a minute studio,” is an architect-turned-ceramicist with a passion for small batch ceramics production and glaze research. Calvin’s unique perspective as an architect brings a keen understanding of space, proportion, and materiality to their ceramics designs. Calvin views glaze as his creative playground. He explores layering techniques, material responses, and firing conditions, allowing the surfaces to transform with every kiln cycle as he constantly pursues fresh discoveries.
